Just finished Unthinkable, brilliant movie ... All I can say is Holy Crap.

Christchurch 1st Day

Had a good first day so far in Christchurch. Got up late after arriving at like 12.15am in thick fog. Plane was delayed leaving brissy and we had to abort our first landing cause of the fog. Got up Lateish ordered brekky from conceirge.

When everybody was ready we went down stairs and purchased a tram/gondola/ punting pass. Caught the tram a few stops, and got off to book our punting, but went straight away. Avon River in Christchurch is beautiful. We went a fair way down the river past all of the old majestic buildings and bridges.

After the punting we a quick look through the museum & arts markets, not that interesting. After lunch we jumped on a bus and shot over to the gondola departure point in lyttleton. Freezing cold at the top of the mtn on the viewing deck, but amazing views of Lyttleton, Christchurch and the mountains off in the distance.

Once we had recovered from the coldness of the gondola we caught a cap from our hotel, out to the kotane cultural performance in the burbs of Christchurch. Taxi driver got lost but eventually with us (mainly Liz) directing we made it to the performance. We had a really interesting tour of the Maori village and an intersting experience with Lawson as the chief of our tribe! Maori performance was really educational and fascinating. The girls got up and learnt how to use traditional Dance/weapon items, after which the blokes had to get up and learn the Hakka. That was fun, my coordination of a spastic cat did that help in that situation! Lol it was hilarious.

Dinner at a pizzeria, very nice and cheap. Just down the road underneath one of the nice old buildings of Christchurch.

All Done

All done for this week, next exam next Tuesday. Off to trivia tonight, should be good last time before we head of to NZ, so exciting. Watching hot seat now so I better focus on that otherwise I won't win the million dollars.

Gmail

Just tried to login into my gmail to label the emails from my blog as blog, but even the web gmail doesn't allow me to do it. I guess I could use the email app on my iPhone and it would be the same, but it just doesn't seem right, does it?
